The latest release from Vigitron, the Vi2804 MaxiiCollector ™ has an extended distance four port managed switch conforming to major network switch protocols. 

The Vi2804P provides individual port 802.3af or 802.at power with no power sharing depending on the input power supply. Its extended port works in conjunction with Vigitron’s Vi2300 extended Ethernet over UTP and Vi2400 extended Ethernet over Coax series to provide transmission distances up to1524m by providing both a UTP and Coax extended transmission output. Power can be provided using conventional 12VDC, 24VAC external power supplies or via PoE eliminating the need for extra cost power supplies or power sources. The Vi2408P can also be used as an AF/AT High Power PoE injector with the use of a 48VDC or 56VDC power supply depending on the required output. This unique combination of fixed management switch functionality, flexible power and extended distance results in high quality performance in a wide variety of applications.
